Northeast Basketmakers Guild – Spring Gathering 2026

Join the Northeast Basketmakers Guild (NBG) for the 2026 Spring Gathering, a three-day basketry weekend filled with classes, exhibits, marketplace shopping, and time with weaving friends from across New England and beyond.

The Gathering will be held at the Polish American Club of Agawam in Feeding Hills, MA, making it easy to drive in from across the Northeast.

Highlights

At the 2026 Spring Gathering you can expect:

• Basketry classes all weekend – Friday afternoon, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning, with options for different skill levels and styles.

• Members’ Exhibit – share your work and vote on favorite baskets.

• Raffle – basketry items donated by teachers and members.

• Marketplace – vendors and NBG business members with reed, patterns, tools, kits, and finished baskets.

• Buddy Plan – pairing new attendees with experienced members to help them feel at home.

• Annual Meeting during Saturday lunch, plus plenty of time to reconnect with friends and make new ones.

Meals & Hospitality

• Optional boxed lunch Friday (pre-purchase).

• Saturday lunch and dinner are included with packages that include Saturday classes.

• Light snacks, coffee, tea, and water available throughout the event; a cash bar opens late Saturday afternoon.

Suggested lodging for the Spring Gathering is the Hilton Garden Inn Springfield, just across the river in Springfield, MA, with a special NBG room block and group code.

Registration opens first to NBG members, then to non-members:

• NBG member registration opens: November 5, 2025

• Non-member registration opens: December 1, 2025

Online registration and class selection are handled through the NBG website; payment can be made by PayPal/credit card or check. Cancellation with partial refund is available until March 23, 2026.
