Tennessee Basketry Association 2026 Convention

The Tennessee Basketry Association (TBA) invites you to the 2026 Convention, a four-day celebration of basket weaving, creativity, and fellowship in the heart of Middle Tennessee.

Held at Leslie Town Centre in Cookeville, Tennessee, this annual convention features multiple talented instructors, original designs, and classes for every skill level.

Whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been weaving for years, you’ll find projects, people, and a pace that fit you.

Dates & Location

• Dates: July 15–18, 2026 (Wednesday–Saturday)

• Venue: Leslie Town Centre – premier event and meeting venue for Cookeville and the Upper Cumberland region

• Address: 1 West First Street, Cookeville, TN 38501

• Host City: Cookeville, Tennessee – centrally located on I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville on the edge of the Cumberland Plateau.

What to Expect

About Leslie Town Centre

Leslie Town Centre is a brick, conference-style facility in Cookeville’s historic downtown, known for:

• Two flexible event spaces with modern lighting and AV

• On-site parking and easy load-in for vendors and teachers

• Walkable access to Dogwood Park, the Train Depot Museum, and downtown restaurants and hotels

It’s designed for conferences, expos, receptions, and banquets, making it ideal for a weaving convention setup with classroom tables, vendor areas, and display spaces.
